It's a bird.......It's a plane....nope it's a rabbitfish

First time the rabbit tried to fly Larry found it floundering on the floor...this time...not so lucky. Edele was heading off to school and found the rabbit....dry...dead...and done. SUCKS! It was a beatiful rabbitfish! And ate only algae in the tank, none of the corals like the other rabbitfish!

Got this beautiful new wrasse flown in from J&L today along with some stuff for both Mom's and my nano's.....he is a beauty, and you should see what it looks like when he is on the floor and squished under a shoe!!! DAMMIT.....jumped and in a panic someone stepped on him! Just my luck....

Whooohoo! I finally have a Leopard Wrasse!!!! Yay....it flew in from J&L today...we observed it on the weekend to make sure it was eating and it does! Pellet, frozen, pods (of course) and is out and swimming about! Let's hope this is a successful Leopard Wrasse ownership as the other one was a very short ownership...... hopefully I can get some pictures of it...they are quite fast!

Purple Algae?????

ya, NO! We have none, can I repeat that...NONE. The rabbit (who I didn't think was doing much) seems to have eaten it ALL...YAYAYAYAYAY! Now, I can hope that he won't decide to eat the corals like the rabbit upstairs....yah beauty yellow leather...TASTY freakin snack!

Rabbits are addicting!

Our red/purple algae is out of control! So we decided to add a Scribbled Rabbitfish to help control some of the algaes. Hopefully it works...but I sure LOVE the fish even if it doesn't...Rabbit fish are so very very cool! He does get big...so hopefully not too big too quickly! But for now..in to the QT tank! I will not be taking any more chances!

"Nuke" the cucumber....with vinegar?

No vinegar...just a new cucumber to add to the mix...kindof ugly but if it does the job we're good to go! Now if it dies....well it'll nuke the tank...should we call him "Nuke" the cuke???

Made ya look! We added 2 Firefish today from Dave...they're little but man are they cute! Pics to come
